You may remember hearing a story about a dog and his bucket a couple months ago? If not, a dog named Slim was photographed in a shelter carrying around a metal bucket, one of the few toys he hadn't ruined while in his kennel. After his photo went viral, he was taken to a rescue facility and then taken in by a foster family.

After some training and much needed love from his foster family, Slim is finally ready to be adopted! If you are interested in adding Slim to you home, you can go to Just make sure you have room for the bucket, too. You can read the full article below.

So, anyone heard of the, "saddest dog in the world?" If not, her name is Lana and her photo went viral after she was surrendered to a Canadian rescue after she snapped at one of her former owner's children. She truly looks very depressed, but it's looking up for Lana. She has been placed in a foster home, while waiting for her forever home and seems much happier.

Although it's wonderful to hear that Lana is doing better, it is also important to keep in mind that there are millions of pets waiting in shelters around the country who feel just like Lana did, confused, depressed and alone. So please, if you're looking for a new pet, adopted!
